The Yin-Yang design is one of them. It creates a wonderful radiant "fan-like' effect... beautiful, simple and elegant and perfectly suits the soft tones of natural blue topaz. Part of the effect is created by leaving Yin frosted which contrasts with the polished Yang. Looking at the gemstone, I think it has a particularly gentle, peaceful feeling which could be in part due to its uncomplicated design... not every gem needs a thousand facets. A superb gem!
