Pair of Pakistani Sphene, 5x6mm, "Noel Oval" by Jeff Graham

These stones were cut specially for a red-headed friend that loves the fantastic dispersion of sphene. While the stone is honey-colored, flashes of red and green with high refractive index make the stones stand out. Unfortunately, sphene is not a hard stone (Moh's scale 5) so it's use as a ring stone is unadvisable but works quite nicely as earrings.
