In a dealer's booth at the Denver rock show I spotted this stone in a group of Afghan tourmalines with a radiating seafoam green hue. The unique pentagon cut came from the cutting the stone at an oblique angle to the crystal axis, which brings out that fantastic color and playful sparkle. This is a fine representative of the best tourmaline colors from Afghanistan. |
