Afghan Indicolite Tourmaline 3.95 ctOpposed Bar Emerald CutDesigned and Faceted by Roger Dery Beautiful Top Blue/Green Afghan Tourmaline. This stone was fashioned from rough purchased directly from the importer Spring of 2004. Most of the accompanying parcel exhibited a greenish C axis, the rough for this particular gem exhibited a stronger blue through-out. Looking close there are several very small inclusions near the surface typical of this species. By eye the stone is virtually clean. Roger Dery’s immaculate faceting helps to bring this rough to full potential. A rare stone and a true jewel. |
