Madagascar produces an amazing array of stones. This Aquamarine is beautifully coloured, much bluer than the photo suggests. Since it can be difficult to find top quality rough material there, much of what we bought was already faceted as native cuts. This stone was originally a very windowed emerald cut and I recut it to maximize light return and keep as much of the original face-up size as possible.
