An Introduction to

The Perpetrator

I started these endeavors of turning little lumps of raw stone into finished gemstones in the early 1980’s. My first attempts were feeble at best. But I continued, one step at a time. Eventually I became fascinated with the optic properties of colored gemstones. My research led me to an understanding of dispersion as one of the properties of these little wonders and how it effects their performance. Next I became aware of how variations in designs and modified angles of these designs led to higher and higher performance of colored gems. It was exciting and I continued my research as I continue to this day to love what I refer to as “High Performance” gemstones. I now find myself comfortably competent. What I present to you is not found in the average jewelers inventory. It is too time consuming, too complicated, and thus too costly for the average jeweler to inventory these gemstones. Please enjoy what I have to offer. If for no other pleasure than to appreciate their inherent, lasting beauty.
